RIOS Is looking for a Full Stack Developer to participate in the building out and maintenance of RIOS' hybrid-cloud front-end and back-end infrastructure. Applications built will interact directly with robotics workcell operations, machine learning, data capture and labeling pipelines and mechanical engineering systems.

Responsibilities of the Role May Include:

  • Develop API's (e.g., REST) for interacting (e.g., CRUD) with various services and operations across various systems and datastores
  • Write repeatable production software deployed in containerized environments
  • Deploy systems to cloud, on premise, as well as directly to bare-metal
  • Develop cohesive front-end experience across multiple RIOS products
  • Develop human machine interfaces (HMIs) for use on RIOS robotic workcells
  • Synthesize internal & external customer requirements to create rich, highly usable applications
  • Actively practice and model scrum/agile & CI/CD best practices

Attributes of desired candidates may include some of the following:

  • B.S. with 2+ years industry experience in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent)
  • A track record of deploying and maintaining distributed code in production
  • Expertise in UX, Human Computer Interaction, and or Human Robot Interaction
  • Experience working with graphics APIs (e.g. OpenGL) and frameworks
  • Expertise with various storage solutions including Postgres, Redis, s3, and cloud storage offerings
  • Experience working with HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, and various frontend frameworks
  • Knowledge in scaling data-driven systems
  • Experience debugging and working with containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Compose)
  • Self-motivated and able to work with various stakeholders to deliver quality solutions
