The Opportunity:

  • The Strategic Partners and Partners Sales Manager position will be responsible for identifying, creating, and managing partnerships and alliances with adjacent channel, consulting, integration, services, and application partners.
  • As the Rimes solutions-offering rapidly evolves into new segments and workflows across the financial information technology landscape, there becomes a growing opportunity to leverage partnerships with adjacent application, data, service, and consulting players.

This position is reporting to Global Head of Strategic Clients and Partners.  

How you will make a significant impact

  • Collaborate across the Rimes organization to identify potential partnerships and alliances that will help accelerate growth and time to market and broaden the product footprint.
  • Perform the relevant due diligence to ensure all partnerships are to the benefit of the Rimes business, our clients, and partners.
  • Establish product, operations, and commercial relationship with potential partners.
  • Manage the discovery process and ongoing relationship with partners.
  • Establish a commercial framework that will fundamentally protect our base while providing avenues for significant growth. Establish and execute on GTM plan(s)
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the ExCo groups
  • Identify potential strategic partners for channel sales, data redistribution, product/data integration, client advisory and consulting.
  • Develop relationships and determine business feasibility (risks vs opportunities)
  • Determine commercial/contractual terms specific to each partnership (standard framework)
  • Market (internally and externally) the partnerships – Execute on GTM plan.
  • Increase sales (ACV) and revenue via strategic channels.
  • Improve integration and workflow with end-client applications.
  • Improve branding and market recognition for current and future Rimes solutions.
  • Improve access to client RFP’s and part of the ITL consulting “club.”

Who you are:

  • An exceptional track record of success and C-level partnership engagement and development
  • Excellent understanding of financial markets, market data and analytics, enterprise data management practices, and asset management technology platforms and operating models.
  • Extensive experience consultatively selling data management technology solutions or services into the asset management, asset servicing and/or institutional markets.
  • Proven track record of successfully selling into and expanding relationships within the asset management and/or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding financial targets.  
  • Knowledge and insight into the buy side information technology landscape in terms of concepts, systems and data workflow
  • A strong network of influential professionals as well as other key influencers in the decision-making process, including COO, CDO, CTO, Head of Operations and Head of Change
  • Deep understanding of different data attributes and types e.g.  reference data, security master, ESG, ETF, and client data.
  • Proactive and motivated to maintain a high rate of activity across the Rimes targeted market.
  • Be able to present confidently and articulate complex concepts with clarity at all levels of the client engagement.
  • Ability to effectively map and work with a decision-making unit within firms.
  • Strong technical understanding of financial products and technology platforms with ability to drive revenue effectively through them, leveraging partner capabilities.
  • Be a skilled and active listener with a consultative style and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional collaborative style
  • BS/BA Required; MBA, CFA preferred.
