RightHand Robotics is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Vision & Planning Group. This team is responsible for developing and implementing state-of-the-art computer vision and path planning algorithms for our globally-deployed robotic systems. At any one time we are working on a wide variety of projects on topics including instance segmentation and collision avoidance, to data collection and analysis, to internal tool development. You will:

  • Develop and maintain our machine learning pipeline in the cloud
  • Develop and maintain our data annotation tools
  • Mine robot picking logs for issues, new training data, and test datasets

You have:

  • 4+ years Python software engineering experience
  • 3+ years building machine learning pipelines and infrastructure in the cloud
  • Experience in a production software development environment (version control, automated testing, build tools)
  • BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience mentoring and coaching junior engineers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Bonus:

  • Experience with machine learning & data science workflow management tools like: Kubeflow, AirfFlow, etc.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker
  • Experience with TensorFlow, Keras
  • Experience with deep learning algorithm development and experimentation
  • Experience with NumPy and/or OpenCV
  • Experience in a technical leadership role in a small team
