We are looking for a Senior Accountant to lead and oversee our accounting operations and financial processes. This role will ensure the integrity of our financial reporting, maintain compliance, and provide key financial insights to the executive team. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment and has a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for completing all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and revenue recognition
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Receive and process receivables, including managing customer accounts and collections
  • Support external audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with all regulations and internal policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and customer support, to provide financial insights and support business growth



Qualifications & Requirements

  • Currently based in the US
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Comfortable working independently 
  • Able to work productively with remote teams
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred)
  • 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in an accounting or controller role, preferably within a SaaS or technology company
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across teams and present financial data to senior management
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
