Rhythm is currently looking for a full-time Senior Account Director to join our team. They will be responsible for understanding our clients deeply, in order to own overall client relationships and long-term growth accounts. They will also partner with internal teams on day-to-day activities to ensure the work meets clients’ expectations and business needs.

The right candidate for this position should have razor-sharp communication skills and strong business acumen, and understand the difference between creating a lasting partnership and simply managing an account. They are natural and engaging in front of a large (sometimes virtual) room. They are empathetic, collaborative, patient, and persistent, and they should be comfortable and confident managing and leading a team. Internally, you will be an advocate for our clients and your project teams. You will own setting the forecast for account revenue and resourcing needs. You will set expectations for account opportunities and consistently communicate status and opportunities to improve.

We're looking for a self-starter who is driven, enthusiastic and is an assertive problem solver. You will partner closely with the client to bring strategic ideas and thinking to the table based on their needs (help them identify opportunities, evolve ideas, etc). You will also manage cross-functional teams through a project's life cycle (from client brief through delivery of final product). You are comfortable owning: internal and client communication, briefs, scope, timeline, budget and quality assurance. As someone who gets the big picture, you are proactive and always ahead of the game, while having a passion for the smallest details.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Form trusted relationships with key client stakeholders, managing clients and growing accounts
  • Proactively provide subject matter expertise to clients and internal teams
  • Leverage consultative sales approach with clients to establish sustainable relationships
  • Set and communicate appropriate client expectations
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of all things Rhythm including: social, email, and web/mobile marketing design and development processes
  • Excel at creating stand out decks and other materials for the client, and also be comfortable presenting
  • Manage multiple projects in parallel
  • Work with client as appropriate to diagnose and mitigate project risk
  • Help craft and negotiate contracts and Statements of Work
  • Effectively coordinate and collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams

ESSENTIALS:

  • Client-facing experience at an agency or startup
  • Experience or knowledge about digital strategy, digital marketing, content production, and product work
  • Familiarity with CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Ideally you’re PST based (open to other key markets if the fit is right)
  • Great communication skills
  • Insatiable curiosity from product to process to people
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience managing and mentoring
  • Ability to work in a flexible environment and be responsive to real time changes if/when necessary

The target range of base compensation for this role is $160K - $190K. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
