The Production Designer has a strong understanding of design. He/she works with creative directors, art directors, interaction designers, user-experience designers and the technology team to create and implement world-class design solutions for our clients.
They will support the design team on web and mobile layouts, design conversions across multiple devices, and supplementary design requirements, like photo editing / retouching and preparing comps for presentations. Additionally, the Production Designer works with the project leads to produce web layouts, email designs, display banners (static and animated), social ads, and the occasional print layouts.
As part of the Studio group the Production Designer will be working alongside project managers and account directors in a fast-growing production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to details and the ability to liaise with various cross-functional teams to create the best design solutions based on individual project needs.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Animate), Sketch and InVision and Keynote
Strong experience with image compression, file correction, and optimization techniques
Experience with web and mobile design work
Current on latest responsive design thinking and techniques
Cooperative and detailed oriented
Great communications a must
Dedicated to learning and adopting new technology
Must be highly organized, including clear external and internal file management
Must be able to work efficiently on multiple projects to meet tight deadlines
Any of the following skills are considered a major plus:
Motion graphics design and editing, knowledge of Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro
IxD and UX Design
Proven successful actual design experience in a digital agency
Strong understanding of interactive experiences, channels, and design principles
Strong presentation and written communication skills
Basic knowledge of print design and print advertising campaign creation
