Acquisitions Intern

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing and dynamic REIT. Reporting to the Acquisitions Manager, you will contribute to our Acquisitions Team as our Investments Intern. You will receive best-in-class mentorship from an industry-leading team.

About the Role:

  • Support the Acquisitions team in their financial underwriting, due diligence, and closing process
  • Work with the research team to maintain an internal database of active deals
  • Help prepare internal documents presented to management for deal approval
  • Create rental assumptions by evaluating completed lease transactions and units available for lease
  • Attend site visits with the team as opportunities arise

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field.
  • Have an extreme level of accuracy
  • Experience with basic commercial lease language
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), and Yardi

The expected hourly base rate for this role is $17. *The hourly rate and total compensation offered depend on a variety of factors, which include, without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location where the job will be performed. The final base salary and total compensation will be described in any offer letters.

*These stock grants are subject to approval by the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, are currently subject to vesting over a four-year period, with 25% of the grant vesting per year, and require continued employment on the grant date and each applicable vesting date.
