Title: LTK Copywriter

Job Purpose: LTK is looking for a Copywriter to join our team and help shape LTK product experiences and marketing communications. When crafting copy for marketing communications, you are full of new ideas with proven experience creating strategic online content for multiple audiences and possess an understanding of how to encourage customers to engage with brands. When writing copy for product experiences, you’ll regularly use empathy, logic, and data to inform writing and design choices. You’ll consider user-centered design principles and write with a focus on clarity, coherence, quality, accessibility, and global relevance. 

This Copywriter will juggle multiple projects at once, both from the ground up and optimizing existing solutions, with in-depth knowledge about the latest design trends and technologies. Our LTK Creative & Product Design team believes good design and content requires teamwork and diverse ideas to create engaging experiences so collaboration is a big part of this role. This UX Copywriter role will work cross-functionally with all Product & Marketings teams and be part of the larger Product Design & Creative team.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Drive the tone and vision for our content strategy to ensure cohesive narratives and consistency across multiple platforms and touchpoints
  • Use your writing and content strategy skills to write and edit both short and long form product and marketing content for multiple audiences and platforms i.e., training documents, feature articles, product descriptions, social media, announcements, blogs, whitepapers etc. 
  • Use your writing and content strategy skills to write navigation UI that facilitates user navigation and other product needs such as components of the end-to-end user experience i.e., onboarding screens, empty states, notifications, instructional materials, settings etc.
  • Help define the core messaging strategies for consumer-facing products 
  • Use strong strategic thinking that will allow for quick problem solving and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders, including the Creative team to maintain cohesion in campaigns and help establish connective language through a unified voice
  • Test copy working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure it is resonating with our users
  • Help define the process and tools needed for developing a best-in-class copywriting function

Skills and Requirements 

  • 5+ years’ of relevant industry experience writing engaging product, creative, and technical content
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism or related field
  • Experiences on consumer-facing product writing including work in hardware, software, digital agency, or other relevant product area
  • Ability to write within brand guidelines, tones and voice
  • Versed in customer behavior and understand how to engage them with copy
  • Transition seamlessly between different writing styles, audiences and platforms
  • Broad understanding of UX copywriting, user-centered design principles and best practices
  • Knowledge of design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite and project management tools such as Asana and Clubhouse
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic agile environment
  • Exceptional communication skills and highly organized
  • Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional departments
  • Respectful when challenging assumptions and give and receive feedback with equal grace
  • Estimate work, commit and deliver on deadlines and are vocal when risk arises
  • Ability to influence peers and managers to build consensus
