How will this role will ServeOwn and Grow at Rev

We are looking for an experienced Growth Engineer with a proven track record of driving growth within subscription SaaS companies. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience in rapid testing and experimentation methodologies, along with a deep understanding of growth principles and techniques. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Growth and is located in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, design, and data analytics to identify growth opportunities and prioritize experiments.
  • Lead the development and execution of rapid testing and experimentation initiatives aimed at improving key metrics such as user acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.
  • Define problems, create hypotheses, and design minimum viable tests to validate or invalidate assumptions.
  • Measure and analyze the performance of experiments, iterate on learnings, and scale successful initiatives.
  • Communicate experiment results, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working on rapid testing and experimentation within a subscription SaaS company.
  • Experience in frontend development with React.
  • Hands-on experience and understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of growth methodologies, including problem definition, hypothesis creation, design of minimum viable tests, and performance measurement.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams and collaborating with stakeholders from marketing, product, design, and data analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and insights clearly and concisely.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to design and execute minimum viable experiments to validate assumptions and drive growth.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, or related field.
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms, analytics tools, and data visualization techniques.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development processes.

Extra Impressive

  • Experience or familiarity with .NET backend.
  • Experience or familiarity with GrowthBook or related testing platforms.
  • Experience or familiarity with MixPanel, GA4, and Snowflake.
  • Experience with funnel instrumentation
