Our team at Rev is seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer. As a Senior UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive data-informed user experiences. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing user engagement and satisfaction across the Rev platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software developers, and data scientists, to deliver exceptional user experiences that leverage the power of artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative and user-centric user interface designs and interactions for our AI-powered products (responsive web and native mobile).
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions.
  • Collaborate on user research, user testing, and analysis to identify user needs, pain points, and preferences.
  • Collaborate with product managers, software developers, and speech and data scientists to understand product requirements, technical constraints, and AI capabilities.
  • Translate user insights and business requirements into actionable design strategies and deliverables.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry shifts, design best practices, and emerging technologies, and incorporate them into design processes.
  • Advocate for usability, accessibility, and user-centered decisions throughout the organization.
  • Lead design workshops, brainstorming sessions, and design reviews to drive collaboration and gather feedback from stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure the implementation of design solutions that maintain visual integrity and usability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a UX or Product Designer preferably within the AI space or a similar industry.
  • A portfolio showcasing your expertise in designing detailed, intuitive, and data informed user interfaces and interactions.
  • Advanced ability with Figma and/or designing/prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, and Axure.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, mobile design patterns, and responsive design.
  • Experience conducting/collaborating on user research, user testing, and usability studies to inform design decisions.
  • Solid knowledge of mobile native design guidelines, platform-specific constraints, and best practices for iOS and Android.
  • Experience with Responsive Web Design and providing breakpoint versioning for final designs. 
  • Experience working with, and contributing to, a design system.
  • Familiarity with the capabilities and limitations of AI technologies and their impact on user experience.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Cross-discipline collaboration experience.

  • Experience/familiarity with accessibility (color contrast, font sizing, native accessibility tools, screen readers, comprehension testing, etc.).
  • Experience with content writing for designs.
