About the role:

Resident Home is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Director of Product Marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the product marketing function and driving impactful e-commerce merchandising initiatives. With 10+ years of experience, you will bring a wealth of knowledge to lead our team in prioritizing initiatives that significantly impact key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rate, attach rate, average order value (AOV), and contribution margin.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive product marketing strategy that aligns with overall business goals and drives e-commerce success.
  • Prioritize e-commerce merchandising initiatives to maximize KPIs, including conversion rate, attach rate, AOV, and contribution margin.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Brand & Design, Marketing, Product Management and Operations to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving business objectives.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Brand & Design teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and effective campaign execution.
  • Partner with Product Management to drive continuous improvement in the digital experience
  • Oversee the execution of product launches, pricing strategies, inventory optimization and promotional campaigns
  • Utilize market research and customer insights to inform product marketing strategies and merchandising decisions.
  • Drive the development of compelling product narratives and positioning to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to communicate progress and align strategies.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Product Marketing, with a focus on e-commerce.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a product marketing function.
  • In-depth knowledge of e-commerce merchandising strategies and their impact on KPIs.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience in prioritizing initiatives to achieve meaningful results in conversion rate, attach rate, AOV, and contribution margin.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach to product marketing and merchandising.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting strategies to meet evolving business needs.
