What you will own:

  • Build and maintain a comprehensive design library and style guide to ensure a consistent look and feel across all digital products.
  • Develop a robust design system that enables quick generation of mockups, prototypes, and design specifications.
  • Ensure the design system is a key input into product development cycles, enhancing efficiency and coherence in design processes.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to design clean user flows, features, and interfaces for web and mobile applications.
  • Continuously iterate on designs based on feedback and evolving requirements to improve user experience.
  • Deeply understand user personas and create experiences that alleviate friction and maximize conversions.
  • Engage with users to gather insights on what works and what doesn’t, leveraging this feedback to inform future product iterations.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure product designs meet user needs and expectations.
  • Expertise in managing the entire design lifecycle from strategic planning right through to implementation. 
  • Be a high impact leader in the organization overseeing the ideation and conceptualization of new ideas derived from user, business, and brand needs.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in UI/UX design and aesthetics industry, and apply these insights to improve our platform and mature the design system.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in UI/UX design for mobile and web software products.
  • A proven track record of leadership and team management, with the ability to inspire and motivate a design team towards high performance while ensuring the work aligns with the company’s goals.
  • Proven ability to translate feature requirements documents into developed flows, interactions, mocks, and clickable prototypes.
  • Capability to rapidly iterate on designs while maintaining coordination with stakeholders and setting clear expectations for the engineering team.
  • Expertise in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.
  • Experience in creating interview guides and conducting focus groups to gather user insights that inform design decisions.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively in a team and independently on large projects.
  • Strong sense of accountability, with a track record of making and meeting commitments.
  • Experience defining and influencing product strategy

The total compensation range for this position in the United States is $210,000 to $240,000. The total compensation package for this position includes benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans. Compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
