Role

Reorg is seeking a Director of Product Strategy to drive strategic product development and go-to-market activities for internal workflow and data tools. Duties include understanding internal and external stakeholder needs, substantiating product ideas, creating alignment with business objectives and priorities to strategically deploy resources, articulating value propositions, developing a roadmap, and directing go-to-market and training activities.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Developing a deep understanding of internal and external stakeholder needs, and as well as our products, tools and use cases to inform management of product backlog
  • Deriving essential insights into stakeholder needs through interviews and systematic review collection, organization, and processing of feedback and ideas for potential development 
  • Designing business cases that identify critical and valuable stakeholder problems to be solved  
  • Leading cross-functional initiatives and creating alignment among internal stakeholders towards strategic goals 
  • Owning roadmap for relevant product portfolio, covering both technology and non-technology elements
  • Driving strategic go-to-market activities for stakeholder releases of relevant products

Requirements 

  • 5-7+ years of professional experience in product strategy, finance, data analysis, management consulting or related industries, with a track record of successful cross-functional collaboration and execution
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional alignment and collaborate across teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sensibilities surrounding the voice of the customer and user experience
  • A passion for the intersection of business and operational strategy, deeply understanding customer needs, bringing products to market, and innovative solutions 
  • Exceptional listening skills, natural curiosity 
  • Remote or ability to work from New York City office 3 days per week

 


At Reorg, we consider a range of factors in connection with compensation decisions, including experience, skills, location, and our business needs and limitations. As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth.

The salary range estimate for this position is $150,000 - $175,000. 

The actual compensation will be at Reorg’s sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
