Role
Reorg Research, a rapidly growing tech-powered company and leader in leveraged finance and distressed debt news and analysis, is seeking highly motivated reporters to join us in boosting our coverage of the European leveraged finance market. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a compelling product and work in an exciting, collaborative multi-background team environment. An ideal candidate would have experience in covering high yield bonds/leveraged loans/CLOs/direct lending/private equity or M&A.
Responsibilities:
- Help build out Reorg’s leveraged finance coverage of both primary and secondary markets
- Develop and maintain rapport with key banking and investor contacts in the bonds and leveraged loan professional space
- Identify and report on new trends and developments in leveraged finance
- Collaborate with both credit and legal analysts, and other reporters across multiple sectors
Desired Requirements:
- Experience reporting on bonds and/or loans; private equity/CLOs/private credit.
- Knowledge of the mechanics of bond and/or leveraged loan syndication across the financing cycle
- Possess contacts across the buyside, trading desks or syndicate desks
- Excellent interpersonal skills; self motivated; ability to make sources, multitask, work in a fast paced newsroom environment, write clearly and concisely under deadline pressure and derive trends from issuance, pricing and other market patterns
- The candidate must be collaborative and enjoy working in a team environment.
