About the Job:

We are seeking a Growth Marketing Associate Manager to help optimize and scale our performance marketing channels. You’ll join the team to help manage our core channels in house. In this role you will have accountability of performance marketing campaign results including: Paid Social, Affiliate, & Programmatic (display & video). You’ll work cross-functionally with our creative strategist and the creative team, analytics, growth and revenue team to ensure our new user acquisition strategy aligns with marketing objectives and complements company-wide strategic goals. 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage day to day paid media campaigns against weekly & monthly spend and acquisition goals.
  • Optimize campaign results to find more efficiencies on CPA/CAC & CPO, while constantly pushing for more scale on net new customer acquisitions.  
  • Analyze daily/weekly/monthly platform KPI reporting + internal metrics for pacing towards overall channel & team goals. 
  • Develop media plans to target core audiences & identify new growth opportunity segments for testing. 
  • Iterate campaign ad creative via constant A/B testing for improvements to CTRs & collaboration for new concepts and formats with our creative strategist.  
  • Develop paid media landing page tests to improve onsite engagement and conversion rates. 
  • Ensure continued innovation by recommending and testing new paid strategies, new or emerging channels and tactics to expand our paid acquisition efforts 
  • Implement performance marketing best practices, establish benchmarks for success and delivering consistent reporting to internal teams providing learnings and opportunities 
  • Build strong relationships cross-functionally and with external partners (vendors, agencies, publishers, etc) to help build integrated programs and efficient processes
  • Collaborate with growth, revenue and finance team to ensure that paid marketing objectives complement with company-wide strategic goal

 

What Success Looks Like:

  • Based on past media buying experience - you can seamlessly step into our Facebook campaigns to help with daily management and optimizations as we scale. You’ve also had past experience operationally executing affiliate, co-marketing campaigns at scale while testing new & existing partners.
  • You drive these campaigns to deliver monthly/quarterly goals for total new customers at the budgeted CAC while maximizing our budgets. 
  • You build strong relationships with the other media buyers, rest of the growth marketing team & revenue counterparts while extending beyond core channels to diversify our media mix via additional performance marketing campaigns. 

 

About You:

  • BS/BA required
  • 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing; experience in paid social & affiliate partnerships is required. Experience in Influencer marketing & Display/programmatic channels is a plus.
  • Hands-on past experience working in media buying platforms (Facebook at a minimum) required and past experience with all ad formats and placements in those core platforms (UGC, video, etc). 
  • Additional experience required with UTM link building, Landing page testing & onsite analytics measurement (GA) 
  • Required experience running affiliate campaigns thru a platform like Commission Junction, AWIN, Partnerize, Impact, etc
  • Experience with managing large paid media budgets is required
  • Hands on experience running in platform A/B testing is preferred
  • Growth mindset - ready to take on tasks outside of role with strong agility to change and to be flexible/resilient
  • Experience in a competitive, fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Data driven marketing approach (very comfortable with numbers/excel) 
  • Passionate about marketing and marketing tech
  • Experience in consumer products or retail, startup and subscription-based businesses is a plus
  • Knowledge of collaboration tools such as Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, etc) and JIRA 
  • Knowledge of online analytics/business intelligence tools such as Tableau, SQL, etc is a plus
