What you bring

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing learning and development programs and leading the development of our L&D strategy
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and tools including building immersive experiences that engage learners and drive adoption usage of tools
  • Ability to analyze training needs, evaluate training effectiveness and provide proactive recommendations to leadership to ensure a high performance culture
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead various learning projects and learning experience designs to ensure timely and effective delivery of the right learning to the right people including developing, piloting and evaluating new learning and development programs
  • Drive communication and adoption of programs and tools by ensuring effective learning opportunities for all Remoters regardless of location and role
  • Work with senior leaders and subject matter experts to conduct thorough training needs assessments
  • Develop and implement innovative and measurable learning journeys using diverse modalities, including digital learning, on-the-job training, blended learning, augmented/virtual reality, mobile learning, performance support, simulations, and gamification
  • Define learning measurement and sustainment strategies to confirm the impact of our solutions
  • Collaborate with department stakeholders to share ideas, leverage synergies, and promote a culture of learning across the organization
  • Lead junior team members and assist with authoring learning solutions using various tools and technologies, including Articulate, multimedia authoring platforms, assessment tools, LMS, etc.
  • Stay updated on current industry trends in learning technology, science, and analytics
  • Manage and ensure integrity of the learning management system to include working with vendors, system upgrades, maintenance, and advocacy

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce. We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.

The base salary range for this full-time position is between $31,000 USD - $87,500 USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
