About The Role
We are looking for a Collections Specialist contractor based in San Francisco to manage our collections process. As the first Collections Specialist to join our team, you will initially report to the VP of Finance, and will own this critical back-end process for our business. You will work with our Finance and Accounting team to continue to optimize and scale our billing and collections efforts.
High volume phone calls and emails to customers to collect payment
Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
Provide weekly and monthly reporting on activities, delinquent customers and payments to Finance and Accounting teams
Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to reconcile payments with billing and accounting systems
1-3 years of high volume, B2B collections experience. Experience at an enterprise SaaS company is a plus
Outstanding attention to detail, and high level of accuracy in written work and reports
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of urgency to achieve targets and drive projects to completion
Demonstrated ability to generate, and maintain, accurate reports
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with Zendesk, Zuora and Salesforce is a plus
