Role Overview

Relyance AI is looking for experienced enterprise sales professionals who are comfortable with the start-up environment, where personal performance is critical and you’ll have the flexibility and determination to participate in any activity to build your business and ensure success. We are building a sales team consisting of high performers who thrive on bringing a ‘first of a kind solution’ to customers, and where you’ll have a direct role in growing the most innovative company focused on the critical need for privacy and data protection.
You will be responsible for selling Relyance AI’s privacy & data governance platform to enterprise customers and other organizations in a defined territory. This role requires you to actively prospect and sell to new accounts by leveraging value selling as your fundamental approach to demonstrate the business value of our solution to key stakeholders in an organization.


  • You will have sole responsibility for enterprise sales in your assigned territory by owning your business and managing the sale process from initial lead generation through to final closure.
  • You will drive complex sales cycles and orchestrate all required internal resources such as solution architects, pre-sales support, customer success, and other customer facing assets.
  • You will implement a value-selling process alongside thorough knowledge of Relyance AI’s solution for addressing privacy and data governance.
  • You will use your experience and consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors.
  • You will be committed to providing our prospects and customers with exceptional service while creatively and relentlessly driving new business.
  • You will gain a fundamental understanding of the data privacy issues and requirements faced by customers and be able to articulate how Relyance AI’s platform can address these critical needs.

You are a good fit if you:

  • Have at least 8+ experience selling an enterprise software solution to C-level executives, managers, and directors at mid to large size enterprise accounts.
  • Possess the intellectual curiosity to immerse yourself in the data privacy space and gain a deep understanding of the issues organizations face in managing privacy and data governance.
  • Are a passionate, sophisticated, enthusiastic, and successful new business salesperson who wants to have a leading role in building one of the most innovative companies on the planet.
  • Have the skill and experience to successfully navigate an enterprise account and deal with the complexity of selling a solution to multiple stakeholders, including Business (Legal), IT (Security) and Dev (Engineering) executives.
  • Have experience leveraging the concept of value selling to prove the tangible business value of a solution to various stakeholders and to build champions for the Relyance AI platform.
  • Can effectively articulate market and customer requirements and provide internal feedback to Relyance AI’s product team to continue enhancing our solution.
  • Have a proven track record of customer advocacy and the ability to rapidly establish credibility and become a trusted advisor
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data in Salesforce.
  • Are equally comfortable in live and remote customer meetings.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
