Your Role
The Finance Manager will play a vital role in ensuring efficient processes and accurate financial reporting by managing the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) teams. They will drive continuous improvement initiatives in finance operations and systems, in order to streamline financial processes.
Your Responsibilities
- Preparation and responsibility of year-end financial statements and assisting with financial audits.
- Customer Contract Management, ensuring accurate and compliant documentation of customer agreements.
- Manage the financial reporting for month-end purposes, including the development of financial statements and reports.
- Month-end accounts preparation, ensuring all financial activities are recorded and reconciled in a timely manner.
- Manage accruals and prepayments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee the AR + AP function, ensuring effective management and financial control.
- Responsibility for all billing and subscription management, guaranteeing accuracy in charges and revenue recognition in line with IFRS 15.
- Treasury management, including cash management, investing, and banking relationships.
- Review Payroll Reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Assist with tax filings & compliance across all territories, maintaining adherence to local and international tax laws.
- Support the Financial Controller with the annual audit, providing necessary documents and explanations.
- Support the Financial Controller with IFRS compliance, ensuring all financial reporting adheres to international standards.
- Support the Financial Controller with cash flow forecasting and other month/quarter end analysis, providing insight into the financial health and projections of the company.
Your Experience
- Certified Accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS15 and its applications within a SaaS business model.
- Proven experience in preparing monthly management accounts with comprehensive commentary.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing AP and AR teams.
- Proficiency with accounting software in either Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics or NetSuite, and CRM systems like Salesforce.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
