The Opportunity:
As our Global IT Director you’ll be responsible for the entire IT function and optimization of the use of technology to deliver reliable, high performance IT systems and infrastructure for a global, remote first, cloud-based consumption services organization.
We are looking for a hands-on, startup-savvy IT leader who is both capable of rolling-up their sleeves and strategically future-minded, helping us with our needs today and helping us grow for our tomorrow.
This role is responsible for defining our IT infrastructure strategy, as well as planning and executing all IT functions and systems across the company as we grow. This is a visible, strategic role tasked with maintaining a best in class IT Operations function.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the vision, strategy and execution of the technical platforms and security roadmap and rollout as Relational grows
- Direct and establish IT-related projects, running a strong project management office function
- Manage the deployment, administration, monitoring and maintenance of all IT systems and networks
- Foster, mentor and develop team members
- Ensure IT processes are effectively designed, built for scale, and effectively documented and monitored
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand ways in which technology will support their business needs and existing processes and integrate those needs into technology solutions and roadmaps
- Establish standardized processes and key operational metrics to effectively manage the performance of the technology operations
- Develop and maintain relationships with external service providers
Who You Are & What You Bring:
- Deep experience managing and leading a IT function for a global organization
- Demonstrated success building scalable processes within a high growth organization
- Experience and strong understanding of cloud computing, networking and information security
- Ability to assess needs relating to hardware, software, SAAS and help desk
- Excellent project management, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Experience leading, developing a group of IT professionals
- In-depth understanding of current enterprise security models, tools, and methodologies
- High sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
