The Opportunity

RAI is a growing startup with a product built on extensive experience with business modeling, declarative languages, and Data Apps before they were called Data Apps. There is room for tremendous professional growth here.

  • As a RAI Enterprise Account Manager (EAM), you will nurture and expand relationships within key Fortune 100 accounts through strategic activities and programs designed to drive significant value for our customers. 
  • You will research and pursue new business and create connections with influencers, executives, and decision-makers. You will partner with world-class knowledge engineers, architects, and data scientists in RAI field services to help align and deliver on identified client opportunities.  
  • You will work cross-functionally with RAI products and R&D to help evolve RAI’s first-of-its-kind Relational Knowledge Graph Management System and the universe of solutions that will be developed to solve challenging problems in financial services, and retail, healthcare and life sciences. 
  • This is an early-stage role with the ability to help shape the way we go to market, the way we engage our clients, the complementary services we offer, and the value our customers will realize through a new “data-centric” approach to building many different kinds of new Intelligent Applications. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and make certain a high level of satisfaction with the solution is achieved.
  • Develop customer-facing success plans that outline critical success factors, key metrics, potential issues, and enhancement recommendations.
  • Foster upstream/downstream customer relationships to help establish deeper customer relationships.
  • Identify opportunities for customer experience improvement and engagement cross-departmentally to influence change.
  • Work directly with our product team to bring real-time customer feedback to life 
  • Organize, lead and participate in customer meetings (e.g., onboarding kick-offs, regularly scheduled operational calls, quarterly reviews).
  • Educate clients on self-service tools, release processes, and other client programs to ensure a successful partnership.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Who You Are & What You Bring

  • Demonstrated ability to identify, understand, assess and influence a wide range of customer stakeholders.
  • Skilled in working with stakeholders to uncover core objectives and goals, and can translate those into key action items to provide value-based outcomes.
  • Ability to quickly gain a deep knowledge of the customer’s business, current economic and industry trends, and potential new business opportunities.
  • Experience conceptualizing and presenting the business value of software product architecture and capabilities to different audiences in different industries.
  • Experience explaining complex technical concepts in compelling ways to non-technical stakeholders 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years as an account manager, enterprise account manager or customer success manager or similar experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., solution consulting) in the enterprise software, database, or analytical software setting
  • Strong sense of ownership and drive for excellence.
  • History of driving successful change and improvement with impactful and measurable results.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders at peer and executive levels.
  • Ability to analyze and problem-solve, breaking down ambiguous problems into concrete, manageable components and thinking through the optimal solutions.
  • Ability to identify key champions and potential areas of expansion.
  • Self-learner and self-starter, able to become a product expert and customer advocate.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (knowing one's audience) using both oral and written skills.
  • Experience with remote-work tools such as Slack, Zoom, GitHub, GCal, etc. 
  • Must work well within a cross-functional team environment as well as independently.

Qualifications - Helpful for Success

  • Strong business acumen.
  • Experience navigating complex organizations, and a high level of comfort with fast-paced environments that involve a degree of ambiguity.
  • Enjoys "getting their hands dirty" by digging into challenges within complex operations.
  • Open to input from other team members and departments. Provides feedback as a liaison appropriately, with data and use cases to help support the requests of the customer.
  • A self-starter who can establish priorities, meet deadlines and work independently with limited supervision.
  • Prior sales / pre-sales / sales engineering experience, especially doing presentations and demos, conducting discovery and whiteboarding sessions, etc.
  • Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, Big Data, and an appreciation for the power of data and analytics in today’s business environment.
  • Familiarity working with Knowledge Graphs, AI/ML, Data Science services 
  • Data Application experience: solving analytics and other data-related business problems
  • POC delivery experience
  • Awareness of / interest in declarative programming languages, business modeling, machine learning, and AI
