Position: 

We are seeking an enthusiastic Customer Success Engineer Intern to join our Customer Success (CS) team. Your primary role will be to maintain and expand the library of regulatory content supported by our platform, RegScale. This involves transforming complex regulatory documents into accessible, actionable content within our software, enabling our customers to navigate the intricate world of compliance with ease.  

This individual combines technical prowess and exceptional customer service to proactively deliver value that drives customer success. You will develop a strong understanding of metadata, citation management, and data management, to organize content across multiple formats, derivative works, and revisions. You will be able to participate in and make recommendations for improvements to existing information organization strategies. Strong research skills are required, as you will participate in monitoring for changes in regulatory content and assessing the impact of such changes on existing supported content.

Activities 

  • Data Entry & Data Quality Assurance
    • Immerse yourself in various regulatory texts, laws, and security or privacy requirements, inputting and formatting them into RegScale.
    • Utilize advanced editing tools to enhance the representation of regulatory texts within the platform.
    • Ensure content accuracy by reviewing and publishing necessary corrections.
    • Manage and organize repositories of regulatory documents and data artifacts.
    • Implement and refine metadata standards and schemas to improve data organization. 
  • Research & Innovation
    • Stay ahead of the curve by conducting research on regulatory changes.
    • Identify and update content that requires revision or republication due to evolving regulations.
    • Assess the impact of regulatory changes on existing supported content and propose strategic updates.  
  • Collaboration & Communication 
    • Engage with compliance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to devise optimal strategies for representing regulatory content in our software.
    • Communicate effectively through ticketing tools like Jira and Salesforce to log, track, and update requests from internal stakeholders and customers.
    • Collaborate with Technical Solution Engineers on technical cases where regulatory content is parsed from machine-readable sources.

About You 

  • Pursuing coursework or have experience in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 
  • Background or keen interest in cybersecurity, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). 
  • Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service and exceeding expectations. 
  • Strong research and analytical skills. 
  • Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative mindset. 
  • Eager to learn and adapt in a dynamic startup environment. 

 

 

This internship is currently approved for up to 30 hours per week. Please consult with your academic department to determine if you are eligible to also receive course credit for completion of the internship.  Position must be a US Citizen and is subject to a background check.
