DC Team Lead:
DC Team Leads are self-starters able to work both in an autonomous environment and together with others. He/She is someone who enjoys helping others to succeed by eliminating challenges for their team. As a linchpin in the fulfillment process he/she is the subject matter expert on the ground for their department and regularly trains others in best practices.
What You’ll Do:
- Work side by side with and serve as a primary point of contact for your team.
- Meet daily productivity targets.
- Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of workload.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, targets, and safety procedures.
- Train new team members on operating procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other team leads for cross-functional projects.
- Help implement process improvements and updates with team members.
- Understand and be able to learn industry-specific technology
- Effectively teach, demonstrate, and ensure all Refs comply with all Company initiatives, Refs sustainability mission, policies and procedures: dress code, attendance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with all OSHA regulations
What You’ll Need:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- 1+ years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, fulfillment environment required
- Flexible, punctual, and reliable. Able to work 8-hour shifts and some weekends.
- Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets to merge and analyze information plus
- Data-driven decision maker and analytical thinker; able to solve problems quickly and effectively
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to bend, lift, open, and move product up to 40 lbs
- Great organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities
