The Senior Materials Manager manages receiving, shipping, inventory control, and inbound and outbound logistics activities for a fast-growing start-up company developing radiation therapy medical devices.
Oversee shipping and receiving, inventory control, and warehousing activities.
Lead corporate inventory cycle counting program.
Work closely with Quality to coordinate and prioritize material for production.
Work closely with production team to ensure work orders are provided based on production build schedule.
Ensure adequate procedures are in place to support RefleXion’s Quality Management System requirements.
Develop and maintain metrics related to in-house materials activities.
Manage a team that performs material movement and inventory adjustment transactions in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system (QAD).
Collaborate with Purchasing on advanced supply chain strategies such as vendor managed inventory (VMI), source inspection, inbound logistics, point of use supplier signaling, cost effective packaging.
Coordinate logistics activities with installation and service teams.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalency required.
Minimum of 10 years in materials management in medical device or other regulated industry with 5 years of supervisory experience.
Experience with MRP systems.
Very organized, high level of attention to detail.
Has succeeded at developing and maintaining constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
Able to use forklift and pallet jack.
Excellent customer service skills.
Proven ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner; strong problem-solving skills.
