The Senior Director of Corporate & Business Development (Medical Software and Digital Health) will be an integral member of RefleXion’s Corporate & Business Development team, reporting to the Chief Business Officer.
The successful candidate will lead external innovation projects throughout the entire life cycle (identification; technical, business and financial diligence; terms and agreement negotiations; alliance management and/or integration). The successful candidate will “own” and largely focus on external innovation projects in the medical software and digital health arena, but is also expected to actively participate in other external innovation projects and to actively participate in strategy development.
Evaluates and manages external innovation opportunities in the medical software and digital health fields, which will include licensing, partnerships, strategic initiatives/alliances, acquisitions, and/or joint ventures.
Oversees market analysis, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs in the medical software and digital health fields.
Provides leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business development activities. Defines vision, strategies, and tactics.
Collaborate with other organizations within the company as needed, including R&D, Clinical and Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Finance and Sales
Keep the organization’s vision and values at the forefront of decision making and action
Perform other duties as required to support the company's overall strategy and goals
10+ years’ experience in corporate & business development, including significant exposure to the medical software and digital health industry
Track record of executing a variety of medical software and digital health transactions, as documented by a deal sheet, is required
Experience in radiation oncology strongly preferred
Excellent project management, planning and change management skills
Proven experience in a fast paced, transaction-oriented environment
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, internationally and domestic
