The Role:

The Regional Marketing Specialist will serve as the primary driver of lead generation and sales enablement for the assigned region, contributing to sustained profitable growth for Refeyn. The Regional Marketing Specialist should be a science-savvy marketer with passion for and experience managing tradeshow exhibits and marketing campaigns and an eagerness to serve as the primary liaison between marketing and sales. Through the strategic planning and execution of company tradeshow exhibits and third-party marketing tactics, the Regional Marketer will provide sales with a regular stream of quality leads. The Regional Marketer will also collect VOS and work with the broader marketing team to devise and train Sales on the tools necessary for lead follow-up. This position is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about scientific tradeshows and wants to deepen their B2B marketing experience while supporting the company’s growth and profitability.

Responsibilities: 

  • Support regional event management, including strategic planning and logistical management of tradeshow exhibits, lead intake and CRM upload. Perform monthly tracking of event ROI.
  • Work cross-functionally to fully plan and execute Refeyn’s annual NA user meeting, including venue selection, agenda ideation, speaker and attendee recruitment, and logistics of instrument demonstrations.
  • Plan and execute regional third-party advertising tactics, measuring and reporting performance to campaign stakeholders.
  • Present marketing updates to regional sales teams, including training on new sales tools, as necessary.
  • Regularly gather and communicate VOS from sales to marketing team with actionable recommendations.
  • Support new product launches to tailor messaging and assets to local markets and sales teams

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Life Science discipline (Biochemistry/Biology)

 Knowledge and Experience (please specify basic, advanced or expert)

  • Advanced experience in event management (2-3 years)
  • Basic experience with marketing (1-2 years)
  • Basic experience with project management and vendor negotiation (0-2 years)
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing practices targeting biotech, pharma and academic scientific customers
  • Advanced organizational, planning and communications skills
  • Ability to work well cross-functionally and within teams. Track record of being a team player is a plus.
  • Expert written and spoken English communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Teams)
  • Knowledge of Biochemistry or Biology and related industries (biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences) is preferred
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
