This is a full time position, based in AMER that will require travel, reporting into Global Workplace Experience & Operations Director.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the AMER Workplace Experience manager that owns operations and experience across the region including LATAM and Canada.
- Manage AMER Opex budget and support fiscal year planning.
- Manage AMER Workplace team supporting team member development and coaching.
- Attend relevant portfolio and capital project meetings and deliver on any moves, adds, changes and own communications to stakeholders and Elasticians.
- Deliver excellence in local workplace services, experience & operations across our San Francisco, Austin, Arlington/Chantilly/Fed space, New York, Montreal, Vancouver, Toronto (Mountain View sublease) and any emerging markets that may come online.
- Advise team on AMER cluster engagement through communications and event activations. Clusters are Elasticians not based in our offices, but work from home or a coworking location.
- Track headcount and occupancy of our spaces and report on figures and projects across AMER.
- Drive ServiceNow delivery in AMER for Elastic HR. Lead in delivering 5 star results within allotted SLA times. Providing quarterly reports of feedback and where we can improve.
- Be a subject matter expert in our AMER homeworking program.
- Vendor management and relationship with AMER Lunch Program vendor, Snack and Vending ventors, plant vendors, janitorial vendors, other services vendors to ensure accurate scope of work, positive user experience and quarterly reviews of the cost benefit analysis
- Partner with SLT, ELT, EA’s, HR functions, Internal Events and within the Workplaces team to deliver the "Elastic experience" in ways that bring together the people experience elements
- between space / design, events, wellbeing and workplace services.
- Partner and promote DEI/ElastiCares/BeWell initiatives.
- Understand about our flexible workplace services to support and foster high-growth productive environments that benefit all employees.
- Ensure ESG and Health and Safety best practices are followed in AMER.
- Maintain an active awareness and understanding of workplace experience trends and innovations that will be key to keeping our employee experience - virtual and in-office - fresh and relevant.
Requirements
-
- 3+ years progressive experience in hospitality, workplace, facilities, HR roles with a focus on employee experience and event execution.
- Currently residing in one of the following metro areas: Arlington, VA, NYC, or San Francisco
- 3+ years of Management experience.
- 3+ years of budget management experience for a region.
- Proven operational efficiency development and process creation with cost savings in mind.
- Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build effective work relationships at all levels, influence behavior, and lead change.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business situations, comfortable working in a high growth, fast-paced environment.
