Essential Duties:
As the Revenue & AR Accountant, you will be a key member of our corporate accounting team, responsible for assisting in all Revenue & AR Recognition across our global operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of an emerging growth company while leveraging your expertise in Revenue & AR accounting within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Support the Revenue and AR recognition process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards, regulations, and guidelines.
- Ensure timely and accurate Revenue Recognition and AR accounting in accordance with US GAAP and SEC regulations, including monthly close procedures, with a firm understanding of the revenue recognition standards.
- Preparation of Key Deliverables including:
- Revenue & Billing Workbooks
- Account Reconciliations
- Customer Specific Summaries & Analysis
- Relevant Month and Quarter End Financial Commentary
- Assist in managing the development, implementation, and adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls relating to Revenue and AR accounting, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
- Work closely with Business Development/Commercial Operations teams to ensure early engagement and communication on new contracts, amendments, and invoicing issues.
- Work closely with external auditors, preparing and providing necessary documentation and support to ensure a smooth and timely audit process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to monitor and manage customer budgets, forecasts, and actuals.
- Participate in the design and implementation of financial systems and tools to drive continuous improvement in Revenue and AR accounting processes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1 - 3 years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting requirements, including ASC 606.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
