Redwood Materials was founded in 2017 to create a circular supply chain for electric vehicles and clean energy products, making them more sustainable and driving down the cost for batteries. We’re doing this by developing and deploying new technologies to increase the scope and scale of recycled and sustainable materials in the global battery supply chain.

Essential Duties:

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Optimization professional to join our Finance Department. The successful candidate will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of Oracle Cloud Fusion solutions to support the financial operations of our global manufacturing footprint. Additionally, the candidate will work cross-functionally to design, construct and implement business systems and processes to ensure business process efficiency, accuracy and seamless integration between the company’s broader Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role requires a deep understanding of finance processes, Oracle Cloud Fusion architecture, and the ability to navigate complex and multinational business environments.

Responsibilities Will Include:

Global System Architecture Design:

  • Develop and maintain the global architecture of the Oracle Cloud Fusion system, ensuring alignment with the company's financial strategies and global manufacturing operations.
  • Design and optimize financial processes within Oracle Cloud Fusion to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with international financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders across finance, IT, and operations to define system requirements and translate them into scalable architecture solutions that meet the needs of a complex, multinational organization.

Global Implementation and Configuration:

  • Lead the global implementation and configuration of Oracle Cloud Fusion modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Inventory Management, and Cash Management.
  • Manage the migration of financial data from legacy systems to Oracle Cloud Fusion across multiple regions, ensuring data integrity and compliance with local and international accounting
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, regional teams, and internal departments during system implementation, integration, and upgrades to ensure a seamless global
  • Ensure seamless integration with the company’s other ERP modules, software and

System Management and Global Support:

  • Provide ongoing global support and maintenance of Oracle Cloud Fusion, ensuring system stability and performance across all regions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle Cloud Fusion applications, working closely with IT, Oracle support teams, and regional finance teams.
  • Implement global system enhancements and patches to keep the platform up to date with Oracle's latest offerings and ensure compliance with evolving financial regulations.

Global Business Process Improvement:

  • Analyze global financial and related business processes and identify opportunities for improvement using Oracle Cloud Fusion capabilities, considering the unique challenges of a multinational manufacturing company.
  • Develop and document global best practices for financial processes within Oracle Cloud Fusion, ensuring compliance with industry standards, US GAAP, and other relevant international financial regulations.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for global finance and operations staff on Oracle Cloud Fusion functionalities and updates, ensuring consistent usage across all regions.

Global Project Management:

  • Lead Oracle Cloud Fusion-related projects across multiple regions, including new module implementations, system upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Develop global project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to global stakeholders and senior management, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related
  • A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, Oracle Cloud Certification) is a
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial systems architecture and implementation, with a focus on Oracle Cloud Fusion in a global, Fortune 500 manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, including US GAAP, and it’s application within Oracle Cloud Fusion.
  • Proven experience in system design, configuration, and integration of Oracle Cloud Fusion modules across multiple regions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Fusion architecture, modules, and integration capabilities in a global manufacturing context.
  • Strong global project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple regions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a focus on global
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle BI, and other relevant
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
