Redwood Materials was founded in 2017 to create a circular supply chain for electric vehicles and clean energy products, making them more sustainable and driving down the cost for batteries. Fabrication Planner
Redwood Materials is looking for a Fabrication Project Planner to support the Fabrication and Engineering teams by aligning the fabrication resources with the top priorities of the company’s multiple business units.
Responsibilities will include:
Utilize knowledge of the Fabrication team’s equipment and skill sets to select projects that align with our capabilities
Work directly with business group leaders and project managers to develop and communicate detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
Use project management software to create Gantt charts and critical path analyses
Work directly with the Fabrication leadership to resource each project correctly to achieve desired timelines
Monitor project progress and update schedules as needed
This role will have complete ownership of the Fab project schedule, updating for high priority, urgent requests and communicating changes to the business group and Fab shop leaders
Desired Qualifications
Experience in project planning and management in the mechanical design and/or manufacturing field
Hands-on and detailed oriented approach to problem solving
Metal fabrication and machine shop experience
Experience with heavy industrial equipment
Good computer skills; MS Office, etc.
Skilled in project management software and reporting tools
Experience in a startup or otherwise dynamic environment, producing low volume, custom prototypes
The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
