Redwood Materials was founded in 2017 to create a circular supply chain for electric vehicles and clean energy products, making them more sustainable and driving down the cost for batteries. We’re doing this by developing and deploying new technologies to increase the scope and scale of recycled and sustainable materials in the global battery supply chain.
Corporate Development
Redwood Materials is seeking a talented, highly motivated, and experienced individual to join our Corporate Development team. The Corporate Development function within Redwood has broad responsibilities across strategic partnerships, equity & debt capital funding, M&A, as well as investor relations. This role will be responsible for building new relationships, sourcing potential transactions, conducting valuation work, managing the creation of financial models, negotiating transactions and leading diligence efforts. The individual will have direct interaction with our executive group and partner with other internal functional departments as well 3rd parties including partners, investors, counterparties and outside advisors.
Responsibilities will include:
Lead identification, evaluation, negotiation, and management of strategic and capital funding transactions
Evaluate qualitative and quantitative benefits of various transactions
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Support ongoing communication with key shareholders and partners
Desired Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in Corporate Development, investment banking, private equity, consulting or similar experience.
Ability and willingness to be comfortable operating both above and below your role
Proven experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects
Excellent leadership & people management skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to distill information in a strategic and analytical manner.

The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
