Redwood Materials was founded in 2017 to create a circular supply chain for electric vehicles and clean energy products, making them more sustainable and driving down the cost for batteries. Trade Compliance Analyst
Redwood Materials is seeking to fill the role of Trade Compliance Analyst. In this role, you will work with custom brokers, suppliers and vendors and internal stakeholders to classify related processes and manage data. You will help with creating and maintaining existing dashboards and queries. Create new processes for uploading data to dashboards and building new functionalities into dashboards to incorporate new data.
Responsibilities will include:
Provide daily trade compliance support to import-export operational activities
Ensure that exports are appropriately screened for Denied Person and Entities, restricted end-uses, antiboycott language, etc.
Maintain required records accordingly to regulatory requirements and company policy
Review import entry packets to ensure accuracy of key trade compliance data points
Interface with freight forwarders, customs brokers, internal and external customers on all matters pertaining to customs import and export regulations
Analyze and interpret Global export/import regulations and maintain current knowledge of changes
Monitor global import/export regulatory and procedural changes, prepare guidelines for communicating to management and stakeholders
Help develop and implement best practices across all departments to prevent trade disruptions and to develop lean approaches to the practices
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and/or related work experience
5+ years’ experience in Logistics or Supply Chain, specific focus on Trade Compliance
Strong ownership of role and responsibilities, driving and implementing change
Innovative approach to problem solving
Proactive, self-starter, energetic and enthusiastic individual
Collaborative work approach with stakeholders
Excellent organizational skills, proven ability to multitask and prioritize
A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!
The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
