About the Role:

This is a high-visibility position.  As Reddit’s Lead DIB & Program Partner, you will partner closely with our 11 employee resource groups (ERG) while also advancing the mission and goals of our business, diversity, inclusion and belonging (DIB), and people strategy. You will provide leadership, governance, and oversight to our ERGs while building collaborative relationships with allies, ERG leaders, executive sponsors, and members to positively impact the lived experience of ERG members. In addition, you will collaborate with senior leaders and cross functional partners to establish yourself as a credible DIB strategic partner.  You’re the type of person who can connect the dots, identify patterns, partner on strategy and create practical solutions.  

What You’ll Do:

  • Work in partnership with ERG leadership, Talent and other business leaders to identify and implement programs and processes focused on attraction, development and retention of talent
  • Define ERG effectiveness and measure impact using quantifiable success measures, create a performance scorecard, and provide other metrics as needed to provide relevant data, analysis, and recommendations to enable global ERG operational efficiency.  
  • Ensure cross-ERG collaboration, both internally and externally, to drive efficiency and scale 
  • Support the DIB team and brand by overseeing key surveys to measure ERG and DIB program effectiveness. 
  • Establish cadence to meet with ERG executive sponsors & ERG leadership on a regular basis to ensure alignment on strategy, goals and budget
  • Execute annual process for goal setting and budget planning for ERGs and monitor budgets throughout the year
  • Lead ERG leadership meetings. Provide direction on agenda to ensure alignment between ERGs, Reddit and DIB strategy.
  • Implement initiatives to support ERG leaders’ career/professional development.  
  • Support the awareness, penetration, and evolution of ERGs within each region. 
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to ERG leaders and executive sponsors
  • Partner with DIB Operations Partner to develop content for ERG effectiveness.
  • Enhance and share best ERG practices 
  • Program manage the Annual ERG Leadership Summit
  • Acts as a DIB subject matter expert by contributing perspective, insights, and knowledge, and taking a balanced consultative and systemic approach to enable the organization to capitalize on DIB for global success through strategic and tactical/operational execution.
  • Provide leadership and coaching, when appropriate, to managers and Directors/VPs via one-to-one and group interactions.
  • Recognize and respond to regional needs by providing tailored strategies and solutions to enable appropriate cultural awareness and change.
  • Engage in the identification of diversity best practices and benchmarks as input to designing and implementing initiatives.
  • Develop effective engagement with leaders and stakeholders including facilitation, presentation, negotiations, and influencing skills.
  • Provide direction and leadership to DIB team related to strategically integrating and operationalizing DIB into the business, front line, and data/information systems.
  • Represent Reddit’s diversity strategy efforts, ensuring awareness, involvement, and contributions as appropriate.
  • Drive cultural change in support of Reddit’s ability to attract and retain world-class diverse talent and to be responsive to customer’s needs.

What We Can Expect From You:

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience, 7+ years of related experience
  • Experience as a consultant to an HR team or corporate team an added plus
  • A willingness to pivot projects, tasks, and strategies based on the needs of the company
  • Highly passionate about people. Passionate advocate/sponsor for underrepresented talent.   
  • Creative, visionary, and executor. Seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating them into breakthrough strategies. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work across differences and cross-culturally at all levels in the organization, including with senior leaders, and in a team environment 
  • Experience building and influencing relationships with stakeholders from various backgrounds and cultures to execute initiatives and programs 
  • Adapting approach and demeanor in real-time to match the shifting demands of different situations.  
  • Rebounding from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations. 
  • Analytical and data skills: Ability to work with statistics and present/interpret results, ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy
  • Project management and program management skills 
  • Ability to plan and manage a budget

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. The base pay range for this position is:
$169,900$254,900 USD
