As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for surfacing relevant conversations and topics from the community around the Collectible Avatar program. You will partner with the GTM liaison, product and engineering teams to deliver strategies that engage, activate and retain Reddit audiences. You will ideate, concept, prepare and deliver the strategy and build the team responsible for Reddit’s community marketing goals.
You will be responsible for the sourcing of new artists and the application portal for new artists looking to join the Creator Avatar program, management of the community of existing and new creators and overseeing the day to day needs of the Creators through the onboarding process. You will work closely with XFN partners across Community, Product, Comms, Marketing, Design and will be responsible for delivering community led strategies that foster more thriving communities and users on Reddit.
Responsibilities:
- Support community marketing endeavors promoting the Collectible Avatar program on Reddit
- Create and execute on a social media marketing and editorial calendar, determining opportunities for engagement and ways to delight our audience.
- Source, onboard and manage new artists to join the Avatar Creator Program
- Elevate the recognition of our Avatar Creators, highlighting their stories to help our broader community understand their journeys.
- Track, gauge, and report on fan sentiment and reaction within owned and organic communities, anticipating trending concerns and communicating effective feedback to the development teams
- Perform outreach to relevant organic communities and their leaders to cultivate two-way communication between our internal stakeholders and our fans.
- Provide thought leadership and strategic point of view on how to best engage with relevant communities to ensure that the Avatar Program is
- Know and understand the lifecycle of the program and maintain the appropriate tone and content for that stage of the product.
- Foster and assist in the creation of what a healthy community landscape looks like for the business.
