We're launching our first sales team in Amsterdam that will be focused on building our Mid-Market business in continental Europe & the Middle East. This is an opportunity for you to be part of the team that expands the Reddit footprint: design the strategy, develop a high performing sales team and bring the magic of Reddit into new markets! We're looking for sharp, positive and motivated self-starters to help us build this team from the ground up! In addition to laying the foundation of the team, Client Partners will be responsible for forming relationships with key brands and agencies ensuring they meet their business objectives using Reddit's advertising suite.
Core Responsibilities:
- Identify and outreach to new clients, establishing mutually-beneficial relationships and educating them on Reddit and the Reddit ads platform
- Identify areas of additional opportunity within existing client relationships, including new lines of business, and move them through to close
- Collaborate with Reddit’s media planning and ad operations team to meet and exceed clients’ marketing goals
- Collaborate with Account Managers to create long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships between your customer base and Reddit
- Act as the CEO of your book of business, and take full ownership of strategic bets, revenue forecasting, and ensuring operational rigor
- Communicate feedback on our sales processes, narratives, and products in order to advocate for customers and improve the team's effectiveness and efficiency
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of relevant experience in online media sales(platform experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of the media landscape and broad network of clients (advertisers and or agencies) across DACH region
- Fluent in English & German;
- Users-first orientation
- Positive outlook, team player
- Demonstrated high achievement against sales targets
- Motivated self-starter who thrives in unstructured environments
