Reddit is a vast constellation of communities with a complex and growing body of data. We are looking for an explorer to help the Data Science and Data Engineering teams build, maintain and evangelize a suite of tools and techniques to help us understand our communities, discover opportunities and answer the growing list of questions that teams are uncovering every day.
The Data PM will own the strategy, planning and execution of our data roadmap (tools, pipelines, dashboards and processes) to help the company better understand users, features and the business. The ideal candidate will leverage strong organizational skills and deep subject matter expertise to partner with execs, designers and feature teams to improve the use of data throughout the company.

Partners with internal groups (Execs, Marketing, other PMs/Feature teams, etc) to understand their data needs and surface those requirements to Data Science/Engineering planning.
Develop a comprehensive strategy for data tools / systems, to make analytics accurate and easy.
Internal owner for experimentation framework stability and adoption.
Create/Promote tools and practices for A/B tests that ensure trustworthy experimental results.
Coordinate Data Science / Data Engineering teams to build large scale improvements to data at Reddit (QA processes, ETL systems, data pipelines, experiment platforms, etc).
Evangelize and nourish a data-driven culture at Reddit!
What We Can Expect From You:
3+ years experience working as a product manager, especially in a data related project/position.
The communication / interpersonal skills to shape the data strategy that aligns a diverse group of stakeholders towards a common goal.
Experience making product and strategic decisions based on A/B testing.
Used to metrics driven development - creating and setting OKRs, monitoring progress, and data accountability.
Strong command of statistical concepts like confidence intervals, experimental design, etc.
Passion about Reddit and how we can make it better.
