We’re looking for an enthusiastic and thoughtful team player who will report to the Deputy General Counsel with 2-3 years of legal experience in online advertising. As Commercial Counsel for Ads, you’ll work primarily with our Sales teams to negotiate a variety of agreements related to Ad Sales and related products. You will use your drive and experience to make a big impact on Reddit’s business. You will also help us build out and streamline our sales and legal processes and you’ll work closely with our advertisers, agencies and other partners. Advise multiple stakeholders across advertising throughout the ad sales process with a focus on building relationships and efficiency
Advise on a broad range of compliance issues related to advertising on the Reddit platform
Understand and stay up to date on U.S. and international laws and regulations related to advertising platforms and ability to explain complex legal issues in basic terms for the company
Provide pragmatic day to day and strategic advice to minimize legal risks while advancing business goals and initiatives
Review, draft and negotiate a variety of agreements related to sales, operations, marketing and, and partnership agreements
Design, build, and improve legal department processes to keep up with hyper growth

Superior organizational skills, attention to detail and a sense of humor
Understanding of online advertising and ad sales
2+ years legal experience in a relevant setting. In-house experience at a technology company with commercial counsel experience is strongly preferred
