RECUR is building the future of digital collectibles on-chain, known as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) – the newest Unicorn industry.

Global brands are interested in venturing into NFTs to establish new connections with their fans. However, they are very careful about who they work with, especially in the cutting-edge world of blockchain. RECUR is founded by the perfect blend of leaders in the brand licensing space and
technology leaders from top cryptocurrency exchanges, digital asset trading desks, financial institutions, and blockchain software companies. Investors include Joseph Lubin, co-founder of Ethereum, Winklevoss Twins, Courtside VC, Hashed, and many more.

RECUR is seeking a General Manager to join its team full-time. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team, where you will build experiences for some of the most coveted brands in the world on innovative, creative projects in the nascent and growing NFT space.

What you will do at RECUR

  • First and foremost, the goal of the GM is to be collaborative, and second, to use this collaboration to influence the team to achieve the following primary goal:
    • Meet and exceed revenue (primary & secondary), gross margin, and user growth targets, all the while growing and maintaining community acceptance (without sacrificing one or the other)
  • Long term, help shape the organization and departments by providing recommendations and insights in order to improve RECUR’s go-to-market (GTM) approach, while optimizing for the overarching primary goal
  • Manage and drive the overall strategy for one of RECUR’s business units, serving as the ultimate owner of the P&L performance for that business unit, creating the best branded experiences possible for fans
  • Become an expert on RECUR’s R&D roadmap and product functionality, utilizing a macro view of the platform to make data driven decisions that optimally prioritize all aspects of the business unit against both short and long term RECUR goals
  • Develop innovative strategies and optimize processes, leading and scaling cross-functional teams to maximize growth against overarching business goals
  • Utilize your toolkit of deep technical product expertise, robust GTM business acumen, exceptional prioritization and project management skills, and incredible understanding of the essence of RECUR’s product suite and the value it creates
  • Collaborate and drive execution cross functionally with RECUR’s Engineering, Product, Finance, Compliance, Corporate Development, Marketing, Legal, Brand, Gaming, Art, Community, and Customer Experience teams
  • Understand the market, customers, and competition better than anyone, and integrate this into decision making and growth strategies for the business unit while ideating on novel directions to maximize the P&L over time
  • Set priorities and deadlines for your business unit, ensuring timely shipment of products and feature sets, and course-correct timelines ad hoc when necessary to optimally position the business

What you bring to RECUR

  • 5+ years of high-growth operations experience at scaling consumer or platform software business
  • Deep experience working in or collaborating with product management, product marketing, finance, legal, and compliance in consumer or platform software environments. Experience and passion for video games is a plus.
  • Exceptional skill of driving insights from data to form strategic decisions
  • Ability to synthesize vast amounts of information quickly, highlight the key takeaways, and disseminate meaningful insights
  • SQL Proficiency strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with industry-standard product tools and software, including Figma, Retool, Invision, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with team members to ensure all work product shipped by the business unit is consistent with RECUR’s overarching business goals
  • Ability to effectively elicit feedback from management team and quickly integrate it into product management strategy
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with team members from diverse industry backgrounds
  • Consistent track record of success meeting deadlines and delivering P&L growth
