As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll act as part of the sales team interfacing closely with marketing. You will research prospective customers, create outreach strategies, and identify sales opportunities. You will conduct exploratory conversations with potential customers, use your business acumen to identify how Recorded Future could help their information security strategy and successfully position the Recorded Future value proposition. This position offers a base salary and uncapped commission. The ideal candidate should be eager to advance their career and have strong business acumen, strong technical aptitude, and natural sales instincts. If you have the work ethic, attitude and commitment to be a successful Futurist, we will give you the tools and training to become an outstanding contributor.

What the Business Development Representative will do:

  • Work closely and collaboratively with Sales Account Executives to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies
  • Conduct high volume prospecting (60 - 80 activities per day) to qualify leads through multiple outreach channels including (phone, email & Linkedin inmail)
  • Conduct qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned
  • Schedule qualified meetings for Sales Account Executives to further assess a prospect's security environment and potential collaboration with Recorded Future
  • Help large and mid-size companies realize the potential of Recorded Future’s intelligence
  • Work closely and collaboratively with marketing on outreach campaigns
  • Collect information from companies to help marketing better understand who we should further target
  • Information shared with marketing on what is working and what is not
  • Set yourself up for a successful career by learning the necessary fundamentals to be a great salesperson, leader, and executive

What you'll bring to the Business Development Representative role:

  • Ability to take direction, be coached and mentored is essential
  • High energy & enthusiasm with a highly self-driven sense of motivation
  • Desire to pursue a career in Cyber Security
  • Grit, determination, resilience and a positive and optimistic mentality
  • Strong presence and ability to work within a team environment
  • Experience with or ability to learn web applications such as Salesforce.com and Outreach.io is preferred
  • Experience working within a sales environment, preferably SaaS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Arabic language skills are required
