Overview

Recharge is building a scalable, easy to use data platform that serves as a foundation building for insights that drives business growth and operation excellence objectives. The right person will have a unique opportunity to, not only, define Recharge’s data platform product strategy and portfolio afresh, but also, work with a group of talented analysts, product and data engineers to implement. 

What you’ll do

  • Live by and champion our values: #day-one, #ownership, #empathy, #humility.

  • Effectively apply design-thinking product management discipline, collaborating with analysts and business partners to anticipate and define Recharge’s data platform user experience and business use cases.

  • Lead the annual and quarterly planning and prioritization efforts.

  • Define, maintain, and lead the implementation of a data platform product portfolio and roadmap, including prioritization and agile rhythm. 

  • Establish and drive technology, tool, and vendor selection effort that meet and anticipate data consumers' need to optimize Time-To-Insight  

  • Deliver data product development life cycle artifacts - requirements, test plan, release note, demo, data talk, etc.

  • Institutionalize data governance, metadata management best practices championing data literacy and maturing data driven culture across Recharge.

What you'll bring

  • 15+ years combined experience as analyst, data engineer, and data product manager. 

  • 5+ years working in the Ecommerce industry with commanding knowledge of user experience journey tracking and behavior analytic. Experience in Segment, Amplitude, and other common user behavior analytics SaaS is a plus.

  • Familiar or fluent in business intelligence tools, like looker, Tableau, and can effectively drive tool selection objectively. 

  • Holistic understanding of modern cloud-base data platform architecture and technologies stack, such as Snowflake, Big Query, Fivetran, airflow etc.

  • Expert in applying data solution concepts, such as data lake, corporate data warehouse, dimensional modeling, data marts, and real time data streaming to business challenges and opportunities. 

  • Passionate, curious about data and energized in solving challenging, x-functional dependency business problems breaking down organizational silos.
