Who we are looking for

We’re seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Business Development Coordinator to support our growth. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of customer engagement, connecting clients with our high-value consulting services and contract manufacturing capabilities.

What you'll get to do

Prospecting & Lead Generation:

  • Identify and research potential clients in healthcare, medical devices, and other target industries.
  • Execute outbound prospecting via email campaigns, phone calls, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams.

Customer Intake & Deal Flow Support:

  • Facilitate initial customer meetings, capturing and sharing relevant information with internal teams.
  • Prepare and present tailored project proposals that align with client needs and Tekna’s capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition from prospect to customer.

Relationship Management:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with decision-makers at prospective and existing clients.
  • Represent Tekna at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build brand awareness and generate leads.

Marketing Support:

  • Partner with the marketing team to create compelling content, including case studies, white papers, and social media posts.
  • Provide feedback on marketing strategies and metrics based on customer interactions and industry trends.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis:

    • Conduct research on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
    • Share insights with senior management to inform business development strategies.

What you bring to the team

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, design, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within medical devices, industrial, or consumer sectors.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to influence key stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot), Microsoft Office, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Familiarity with design, engineering, and manufacturing processes, particularly in medical devices, is a plus.
  • A strategic mindset with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for product innovation and commercialization.
