Who we are looking for
We are looking for Industrial Paint Prep Technicians to join our growing team on 2nd Shift. You will be preparing parts for the next stage of the painting process.
This is a 2nd shift position: 5 day work week, 8 hour shifts, 2:00pm-10:30pm.
What you will get to do
- Rapidly, precisely, safely, and accurately prepare parts for next steps in the paint process.
- Clean and prepare parts in preparation for paint or after paint.
- Mask parts for painting according to blue prints, travelers or other instructions.
- Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Load and unload items from paint booths/drying racks, etc'
- Clean work area and all equipment used in the process of painting parts.
- Adhere to all procedures with respect to the storage and handling of materials in the area
- Other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the team
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Prior industrial paint prep experience preferred
- Prior experience working with your hands preferred
- Demonstrates inspection competence
- Demonstrates basic mathematical skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required
