Who we are looking for

You will scale and refine the tradeshow program for Re:Build and its 13 member companies and help grow the Re:Build brand presence in the markets that we serve. You will help to establish a powerful position for the company in key markets, and to generate high quality leads to support revenue growth. The incumbent will manage, promote, and implement an array in-person trade show events across the entire event lifecycle, including conceptualization and planning, key partner alignment, logistics management, marketing and promotions, and post-event reporting and analysis. The right person will be capable of managing the details of these events while rallying the necessary cross-functional team resources to make each event successful. The ideal candidate will be a masterful planner with a natural inclination to both plan the events, and to measure the effectiveness of these events in the context of driving growth for the Re:Build brand. This role requires the coordination of many moving parts with a relentless attention to detail.

What you get to do

  • Complete the tradeshow strategy for all Re:Build at shows spanning the U.S. and a wide variety of industry verticals
  • Establish a repeatable and scalable process to plan for, implement, and follow up on all events and marketing programs, including lead bring together and assignment
  • Explore and evaluate new show and event opportunities and elevate those to leadership for consideration
  • Lead the creation of necessary show assets and collateral
  • Create a show plan for each event
  • Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team and sales/business development for the creation of materials, training of show staff, and on day of activation/set-up
  • Lead the inventory of booth items, such as back drops, banners, TVs, etc.
  • Track booth/show investment and build effective reports to determine performance and return on investment of events
  • Handle the creation of pre- and post-show communication to show attendees or contacts obtained over the course of the show
  • Partner with the marketing team to complete Re:Build’s overall brand strategy and pipeline development initiatives
  • Work with the team to build a robust process for lead capture and tracking through the HubSpot platform.
  • Support the coordination of other internal and external events as needed
  • Conceptualize, plan, organize, and implement other Re:Build initiated conferences and events for customers, employees, and other partners

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing or a related field
  • 5-8 years of shown, previous experience leading the planning, execution, and logistics of trade shows and their related budgets; preferably in the B2B/Technology/Manufacturing space
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • Competent with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite of products (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
  • Familiarity or experience with HubSpot

Other Skills and Abilities:

The position requires a strong working understanding of Microsoft Office and ideally Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. A strong ability to communicate effectively is required. This role will require significant travel, some of which may fall outside normal business hours depending on the show schedules.
