Who we are looking for

You will be critical in growing Re:Build Manufacturing’s competitive advantage through effective sourcing process development and implementation! You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and managing the performance of required sources of supply aligned to Re:Build requirements. This role involves establishing and managing supplier relationships to ensure risk management, compliance, cost savings, and innovation within Re:Build supply chain processes.

What you get to do

  • Responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing processes such as supplier identification, qualification, spend analysis, risk analysis, negotiations, sourcing strategies, and supplier relationship management in accordance with laws, quality requirements, and Re:Build guiding principles.
  • Creation and maintenance of processes that support the requirements and governance of local, operational procurement activities.
  • Identification and evaluation of potential suppliers to meet program and business requirements, developing standard commercial terms, negotiating agreements, and fostering long-term relationships in line with the Re:Build Way
  • Driving sourcing decisions based on cost (negotiation, supplier collaboration, process improvements, etc.), business requirements, and risk management
  • Developing cost reduction and category strategies
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers
  • Collaborating and mentoring with multi-functional teams on supplier, quality, and continuous improvement objectives through an organizational matrix
  • Regularly report on relevant metrics to leadership
  • Procurement and sourcing metrics development and management
  • Policy and process development
  • Fosters relationships with the regional and national supply base in line with the Re:Build Way
  • Supplier quality audit and qualification support

What you bring to the Team

  • 8+ years of progressive operational supply chain and sourcing experience in a production environment required
  • Demonstrated results showing impactful work to the business via strategic sourcing, supplier development, supplier relationship management, negotiations, procurement best practices, category market trends, emerging technologies, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, engineering, or related analytical discipline preferred
  • Professional certifications (CPM, CPSM, PSP, etc.) preferred
  • Experience with defense, aerospace, medical, automotive and high technology industries preferred
