Who are we looking for?

What will you get to do?
- Support project teams in multiple capacities including design of mechanical systems, fabrication drawings, BOMs, schematics, assembly drawings, etc.
- Meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers
- Participate in client meetings and internal engineering design reviews
- Generate content for project proposals, including developing concepts and estimating effort and equipment cost
- During machine build, support technicians, troubleshoot issues and provide solutions
What will you bring to the team?
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a design engineering role
- Working knowledge of the various aspects of web conveyance and processing:
- Web handling technologies, Winders, unwinders, Roll start and splicing equipment, Accumulators, Tension control methods
- Web lateral control methods, Roller and nip drives, Air and roller conveyance methods, Web product/process interactions
- Coating Technologies, Pre coating preparation, Coating station design, Coating methods and hardware (i.e., gravure, slot die, rod and blade, etc.)
- Curing and drying methods and equipment
- Hands-on experience with analytical troubleshooting of conveyance issues, installation, debug and maintenance of equipment a plus.
