Who we are looking for

As an CNC Engineering Technician - Machinist you will be a primary contributor to high-mix, low volume, rapid machining in a team-oriented environment.  The CNC Engineering Technician - Machinist consistently using new processes and materials to serve our customers in a variety of industries. The CNC Engineering Technician - Machinist can also expect to do fixturing, set ups, and operates CNC machinery to fabricate complex components from an array of raw material types (even some exotics!).  NC Programming is not a prerequisite but it will be expected to be learned as part of this role.

What you get to do

  • Perform CNC Operations, to include machine set-up for 3, 4 and 5 axis vertical and horizontal milling capabilities
  • Plan and execute new machining projects that range in complexity, material type, and industry application 
  • Operate machines in accordance with internal process and any other required paperwork (i.e., drawings, specifications, etc.)
  • Inspect and verify work to ensure it meets specification requirements

What you bring to the Team

  • Skilled Trade/ Technical Certification (preferred)
  • At least 2+ years of experience with manufacturing using CNC machines
  • Ability to read & understand blueprints and technical documents
  • Must have the ability to recognize there is no one size fits all approach to machining
  • Must be able to rethink how work is done to make modifications and improvements to products
  • Able to multi-task and operate in a complex environment
  • Proficient with inspection gaging (Calipers, Micrometers, indicators, etc.)
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Willing to learn how to NC Program and gain intuition for providing project lead times
  • Must be able to read, speak, write and understand basic English
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Must be able to rethink how work is done to make modifications and improvements to products
  • Able to multi-task and operate in a complex environment
  • 2+ years Mastercam experience preferred not required
  • Must be able to lift 50 LBS
  • SolidWorks experience preferred

Compensation 

Hourly Rate Range Depending on candidate experience - $31.59 - $47.38

Additionally -

  • Annual Bonus
  • LTIP
