The Role

We are looking for an experienced hands-on Sales Development Lead to guide and lead the Sales Development Representatives and take part in building and improving prospecting processes, tools and pitches. The SDR Lead will lead by example, coach the SDR team and ensure the team successfully prospects and nurtures opportunities from global enterprises and cloud-native companies.

The Sales Development is part of the Marketing organization, the SDR Lead will work closely with marketing and account executives guiding the team of SDRs on both outbound and inbound activities, qualification, and driving demos and meetings to expand our sales opportunities.
 
  • Provide on-boarding and on-the-job coaching to new and existing Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) responsible for inbound and outbound lead generation engagements
  • Develop and maintain a sales development playbook with processes and best practices such as sales sequence, sales pitches, call scripts, email templates, and qualification tactics to ensure SDR efficiency and consistent conveyance of our current messaging
  • Establish KPI metrics to measure the effectiveness of SDRs’ lead generation and qualification efforts and help SDRs improve by understanding their performance on a regular basis
  • Motivate and provide assistance to the SDR team to achieve collective and individual goals
  • Partner with the Sales & Marketing management to continually experiment and optimize elements such as messaging, marketing segments, prospect lists via insights gathered from lead generation efforts
  • Partner with the Vice President of Marketing and HR in SDR recruitment activities
Main Responsibilities
  • Guide and coach the SDR team to establish continuous improvements
  • Oversee and drive quota achievement of the SDR team, as well as personal goals 
  • Develop and calibrate sales development processes, playbook, call scripts, templates and tactics to optimize SDR efficiencies and outcome
  • Initiate campaigns, segmentations and ideas to increase engagement and generate opportunities
  • Develop and cold call as well as inbound tactics, provide insights on improving the process
  • Engage with prospects via cold calls, emails and LinkedIn to spark interest in Reblaze solutions
  • Achieve lead qualification and opportunity creation quotas 
  • Continually enhance your knowledge on Reblaze's offering, as well the competitive landscape and client use case 
  • Diligently update all related prospects and follow up information in the appropriate systems such as Hubspot and SalesLoft
Requirements
  • Ambitious,  results-driven, structured, and data-oriented with great communication skills
  • 4+ years’ experience in sales development or inside sales in the Enterprise Software space, preferably in Cyber Security, SaaS or Cloud related technologies
  • Strong cold calling and qualification skills with a proven track record in achieving and exceeding quota
  • Excellent knowledge of sales development, tools, processes and best practices
  • Experience in growing and scaling a successful SDR team in a fast-growth environment is a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and driven individual
  • Hands on SalesLoft, Zoominfo or Hubspot knowledge - an advantage
