About the role

We’re looking for a People Operations Associate to join our team in NYC! This is a generalist role in a scale-up environment, which means you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in many areas and make your mark. In one week, you might spend time revamping our employee onboarding program, planning our NYC holiday party, writing a new policy, conducting a stay interview, cleaning employee data in Hibob, and pitching an idea for an employee perk. There is a ton of room to grow in this role and is the right fit for someone who wants to develop their career as a People Ops/Experience professional. 

Our People Experience team is split into Candidate Experience (our amazing recruiters) and Employee Experience (where this role will sit) and supports our employee populations in the US, UK and Portugal. This role will be the main point of contact for our US employees and reports to our Head of People Experience who is located in the US. 

Please note: this role is expected to work from our NYC Middtown office 2-3 times per week. 

What will be your responsibilities for this role?

  • Be the first point of contact for any HR queries for our US employees
  • Ensure our HR system (Hibob) is kept up to date with accurate data; develop reporting and run analysis on employee data 
  • Manage basic employee relations cases such as Leave of Absences 
  • Own the experience for critical moments along the employee lifecycle including: onboarding, offboarding, anniversaries, and job changes 
  • Manage the workplace experience in our NYC office (expected ~10% of time) 
  • Support our goal of being a well documented company! We believe in transparency and visibility and want to build out a robust knowledge base for our employees
  • Tag in on various People Experience projects as the business needs evolve (performance reviews, policy creation, manager trainings, L&D)
  • Be a culture carrier by developing programs and initiatives that infuse the Reachdesk values

 

Ideal background:

  • 3+ years experience in HR/People Operations 
  • Familiarity or experience using Hibob or similar HR system
  • Experience in a growth-stage technology company 
  • Growth mind-set as the company is growing and evolving fast;
  • Ability to work from our NYC office 2-3 days a week.
