Razorpay was founded by Shashank Kumar and Harshil Mathur in 2014. Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes. What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India. 

We are a full-stack financial services organisation, committed to helping Indian businesses with comprehensive and innovative payment and business banking solutions built over robust technology to address the entire length and breadth of the payment and banking journey for any business. Over the past year, we've disbursed loans worth millions of dollars in loans to thousands of businesses. In parallel, Razorpay is reimagining how businesses manage money by simplifying business banking (via Razorpay X) and enabling capital availability for businesses (via Razorpay Capital). 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary POC for all new RazorpayX clients coming through various inbound lead sources. 
  • Should clearly understand all client requirements and propose a suitable solution using Razorpay products and services. 
  • Completely own and execute end to end sales. 
  • Build, maintain and forecast a healthy sales pipeline. 
  • Own and assist smooth onboarding experience for all new clients. 
  • Should have experience in giving virtual demo's to the clients. 
  • Should have the ability to cross-sell and up-sell clients as and when required. 
  • Use sales tools effectively and drive maximum efficiency. 
  • Perform platform/solution based sales for all new prospects. 
  • Work with other cross-functional teams as and when required. 
  • Achieve sales targets consistently. 
  • Understand and work towards teams/organisations objectives 

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of sales experience. Experience in the payment industry would be an advantage. 
  • Strong communication skills, oral & written. 
  • Proven experience in customer facing roles. 
  • Self motivated and result oriented personality. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers. 
  • Hardworking with a strong work ethic. 
  • Should know how to use basic sales tools.
