The Role:

This is a multi-dimensional role where the responsibilities range Business Development with enterprise clientele for a 0 to 1 product as well as leading the customer success, partnerships, operations functions with micro-teams under each of the functions. . Under Customer Success, the focus is on driving goodness from the product to help merchants achieve their goals. You will be managing very large accounts directly as well. Under partnerships, you would be responsible for forging and maintaining Business Partnerships for Magic with plugin-developers, website-building agencies, D2C Community, etc. You will also oversee Revenue realization i.e. liaisons with BizFin, FinOps, etc. to ensure revenue is calculated correctly, reimbursements are disbursed, revenue is realized and correctly accounted for. Understand Competition & Market Intelligence. This includes Product intelligence, GTM intelligence, Pricing intelligence, Market intelligence, etc. You will be an active part of Strategic projects from time to time when the need arises. Creating detailed strategy as well as tactical notes for strategic initiatives from time to time.  Creates, executes and drives adherence to processes from time to time; on my behalf. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth along with the team and also taking on key accounts directly from Leads to Sales to closure. Introducing higher process maturity to drive more predictability in planning and closures.
  • Operations Management through the team 
  • Driving Customer Success through the team and being the face of Customer Success with very large merchants 
  • Forging, Maintaining and Leveraging Partnerships in the D2C ecosystem
  • Revenue Realization / CRO 
  • Gathering, documenting and internalizing Market Intelligence through the team and individually
  • Driving Strategic Projects as and when required 
  • Program Management as and when required 
  • Customer support excellence through the team and directly 
  • Championing the growth of Magic within the organization as well as with the customer and partner ecosystem 

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • At least 4-5 years of experience in Strategy / Program / Business roles; preferably would have played multiple functional roles
  • Excellent with Customer relationships, Selling, Strategic Thinking, Data and Analytics, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Street-smart and Should have a very strong business-acumen
  • Has experience managing business people (either directly or at least dotted-line)
  • Ability to work on a wide-range of problems / functions
  • Go-getter, hungry for more in career.
